The Avaya IP Office Digital 30B V2 Station Expansion Module offers support for 30 additional digital phones on your IP500V2 or IP500 system. They can be either Nortel heritage digital phones or Avaya digital phones, but you can't mix them on the same module.

  • Not supported on releases not listed above
  • Supports 9500, 1400, 5400, 2400 Digital Phones

how do i change the settings on the module from nortel phones to a use 1400 series avaya phones

A: 
The IP500 Digital 30B V2 modules can be changed between DS and BST mode in Manager.  Select the expansion module, change the Operating Mode and hit OK.  The system may reboot when you save the configuration.
