Do you need 2 different 4 port keycodes to use this? I already have one but do I need to purchase another one for a total of 8 available lines?

A: 
This hardware does not require keycodes to enable the ports.    If you have a slot for the module and the other system criteria are met it will work when you plug it in.  Also, all BCM keycodes have been discontinued as the product is EOL.
