Poly Savi 8245 UC USB Wireless headset provides your choice of wearing style and unlimited talk time. Savi 8245 UC comes with two batteries: charge one in the headset cradle and use the other one in the headset. When juice is running low, you can swap the batteries — even when you're in the middle of a conversation. You'll never hurt for power with Savi 8245 UC. The headset comes with your choice of three wearing styles: earhook, headband, or neckband. It's ultra-lightweight, clocking in at only 21g when you use the earhook. The noise cancelling microphone includes Close Conversation Limiting technology to remove unwanted noise, especially in chaotic environments like open offices.

Poly Savi 8245 UC uses DECT to communicate with the base, which then connects to a desk phone or PC. The Poly Savi 8200 Series is certified for DECT Security, an enterprise-class standard for protecting communications. As compared to Bluetooth, DECT offers an unbelievable wireless range: up to 180ft in the office or 590ft line of sight. Using DECT also lessens wireless spectrum density, an increasingly problematic feature of offices where numerous Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices are being used.
